Research

Seven domains in Rotterdam public health and health systemic research have been identified as Rotterdam strongholds. These are areas in which iBMG, MGZ, ISS and partner institutions such as IHS have high-level expertise and in which multicenter and global collaboration and social valorisation can be advanced.

Health inequalities

RGHI is involved in studies related to socio-economic inequalities in health, poverty reduction, differences in socio-economic status and health status. This subject area is ideal for innovative dialogue between experts whose research is focused on poverty and health in Europe and those who focus on poverty reduction elsewhere in the world.
