Free movers & Study abroad
Free movers & Study abroad
In case you wish to follow courses at a university that doesn’t have a formal agreement on student exchange with iBMG, you do not take part in an exchange programme. Students who do this for an EU university, are so called ‘Free movers’, students who are going to a non-EU university are called 'Study abroad'.
Free movers and Studies abroad will arrange their stay on an individual basis: they will make all arrangements themselves, such as contacting the host university, arranging accommodation, applying, finding scholarships and funding, etc. They should first contact the host university to find out if they are allowed to take some courses at that university. Free movers and Studies abroad should take into account that they may have to pay a fee (or tuition fees) to the host university for following courses.
Maike Haveman will be happy to assist Free movers where ever she can (haveman@bmg.eur.nl).
On the page ‘Related master programmes’ you will find a list of universities that offer master programmes (and maybe bachelor programmes) which could be interesting for BMG students.
