Health Economics, Policy & Law (HEPL) is a unique multidisciplinary master programme. It is specially designed for students who are interested in fully understanding the context of health and health care issues.
Explore the complexities of health care systems from different disciplinary perspectives. Acquire advanced knowledge of economics, public administration and law to be able to analyze and understand health policy issues. Develop analytical and professional skills for designing, carrying out and reporting academic research. Work with students from around the world to solve case studies and get to know each other better.
The HEPL programme has a clear international orientation. You will learn to put current developments in health care systems in different countries into perspective. Typically, you will deal with questions such as: ‘What is the impact of European regulation and cross-border care consumption on national consumption?’ and ‘What health services should be available to everyone, independent of an individual’s purchasing power?’ And, finally, how could the various health care reforms successfully be implemented?
After your graduation, you may pursue various career opportunities in the public and private sectors.
