Participants will be better equipped to critically evaluate and contribute to policy, practice and research.

The target audience includes professionals, who are involved in translating research findings into policies or the implementation of interventions, as well as (future) researchers.

Dr. Wil Hout, Deputy Rector for Academic Affairs at ISS:

"Health issues are among the most challenging aspects of development in the early 21st century, as witnessed, for instance, by the prominent place they occupy among the UN's Millennium Development Goals. In order to train researchers and practitioners to deal with health problems at a local, national and global scale, a group of experts working in different parts of Erasmus University Rotterdam have joined forces to offer a truly international and interdisciplinary programme in International Health and Policy Evaluation. We are certain that the combined expertise of the participating groups provides an excellent international environment to make this Diploma programme into a major success."
