VISA & Health insurance
Health insurance
Medical care is of high quality in the Netherlands. It is, however, of the utmost importance to be properly insured, since medical costs can be very high. Dutch health insurance usually covers the costs of admission to hospital and medical treatment, medicines, visits to general practitioners (GPs) and specialists. Once medical insurance has been settled, a person can make use of the Dutch health care system.
